Our Mission
Forward Swept Enterprises (FSE) seeks to bring art and technology to contemporary life. As a wholesale distributor, FSE serves as a manufacturing developer and supply line coordinator. Our products are custom designed in-house then manufactured in quantity to reduce product and processing costs. With this process, FSE can produce unique and high end products at consumer prices.
“It is important that the advances developed to push the limits of our technology, whether for military, space exploration, or otherwise, be delivered to the masses to improve everyday life. As industry begins to implement these technological breakthroughs, we have the potential to see safer vehicles, cheaper fuels, and healthier environmental practices across the board. It is the responsibility of industry to take advantage of these opportunities; to build the bridge that transfers taxpayer funded advances back to the people.”
- Bo Pollett
Our Company
The logo for FSE is derived form the Grumman Experimental X-29 aircraft. It was developed to test the theory of a forward swept wing fighter aircraft. The theory states that a forward swept wing will offer the benefits of a regular rear-swept wing at supersonic speeds, as well as offer improved handling and more efficient flight characteristics. Although this theory had been known for years, a material had not been developed that would withstand the forces of such a flight without yielding under the extreme forces of mach flight and bend, resulting in failure. With the invent of carbon fiber and other advanced composites, the vehicle was finally possible. The hundreds of flights flown by the X-29 aircraft opened the doors to many new technologies in aerodynamics and composite materials. These advancements continue to be further developed to improve the performance of aerial vehicles such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
Our History
Founded in 2008 by Scott Longshore (right) and Bo Pollett (left), two aerospace engineers, FSE began with a focus on bridging the gap between high performance technologies and the consumer market. Both Bo and Scott are heavily involved in the current aerospace markets, working with composites to develop the future of aerospace vehicles.
